That's exactly right.
The things that happen to him in this movie that he simply gets up and walks away from have to be some of the most outrageous in film history.
Seriously, he makes Rambo look like a huge pussy. It's more along the lines of Topper Harley in Hot Shots Part Deux.
Zamoro, and anyone else who's seen it, when he is thrown from the helicopter, am I the only one that literally thought John McClain was going to die and be sliced into a thousand pieces based on what happened before he landed???

No, but I thought they might show him sliced up and then quickly cut-away to a shot of him on the ground - whole again - but probably fatter and slightly older...with maybe a beard and bad accent...and his son would run over...and they'd hug...with dialogue dubbed over from "Blind Date."
