Part of me says there's no excuse for the lack of improvement. The other part wants to believe that the lack of a consistent lineup is really hamstringing the team.
At least last year the lineup was fairly similar every night. I'd bet the hornets are in the top 5 most varied starting lineups in the league.

We have $16.5 million in dead money contracts on the roster. Combine that with Gordon only being able to play decent in one half of a game and you have a lot of wasted money and no star player to lead the band of misfits. Demps has a lot of work to do to keep Monty from getting fired.
