About 1500 of them will be moved from the lower SEZ to the new upper SEZ addition in 2014

does this mean most visitors will be getting allotted seats in the upper SEZ? instead of lower?

LSU will still give visiting schools around 1,000 or so in the lower bowl. The rest of the visitors will be moving up....

boring. I like having the opposing fanbase right down in the mix of everything.

TAF is missing out on a good bit of money as long as all of those 2,500 lower bowl seats are allocated to away fans.

You could not pay me to sit in the lower 20 rows of the SEendzone... terrible seats... you cannot see shite for football that low in he endzone.

Problem is...virtually none of our SEC "brothers", give visitors anywhere near as good seats as we do. Over the years, most visitors seats have been banished to the upper decks....except @ LSU ! Beginning 2014 our visitors will be given the bare minimum lower level seats, and it's about time we treated "our brothers", just like they treat us ! LSU has been FAR too amiable over the years and continually gets kicked in the teeth and largely ignored...it's time for that to change !

i remember when LSU gave the visitors 10,000 lower level seats (before we even had the east upper deck) There was more atmosphere and intensity between the opposing fan bases esp Ole Miss

This.

I went to BDS for the game in 2011, and was stunned at how they split up the vising fans - most of us were in the upper deck in the dark, while the remaining fans were peppered in various areas around the stadium.

There wasn't a perceptible LSU contingent. If your were an LSU player on the field, you presumption likely would have been that we didn't bring any fans at all.

So, no, I have no problem with giving premium seats in the southeast endzone back to LSU fans..and dispersing visiting fans along the upper decks where they're barely discernible.

This is exactly how it was at Auburn and Tennessee as well. Florida and Ole Miss are the only two schools that I have been to where the visitors had decent seats...

Hell, A&M might as well put lawn chairs on top of a cell tower 5 miles from Kyle Field and call it the visitor section.

I decided not to go to A&M last year for that very same reason. Actually went to Florida this year and was pleasantly surprised that the visitors seats were not that bad. I'm going to Samford next year for UGA and I hear you are up on the 3rd deck...

This, I would much rather the upper deck then sit in those seats. Never understood why people would be willing to pay so much for seats that low down
