Tenders are only first round, second round, or round drafted, nothing else.

This is correct. There used to be a 1st/3rd tender, but they got rid of that last year (I think).

To do a 1st round tender, we' have to pay Ivory around $3M. The 2nd round tender is around $2M. I believe the other tender (original draft pick compensation) is around $1M. None of those numbers are exact, but I think they are close enough.

Just because it seems like it should be said, there is a 0% chance a team coughs up a 2nd round pick for Ivory.

I agree with nobody giving up a second round pick. However, I never understood that logic. Odds are Ivory will be a bigger contributor on a team in which he is the started than 90% of the second round picks over the next couple of years. I have always felt NFL teams overvalue draft picks in simple trades such as an established player who is a known entity versus a draft pick that has a good chance not to pan out as well as the player being traded.

I agree. As good as Ivory can be when healthy, he doesn't stay healthy for very long when he's used much.....or that's been his history so far.
