The 70's 80's or 90's???

OVERALL sports............ I say the 80's.........

The 70's were just picking up what the 50's and 60's started. The 80's put that through the roof with [unfortunately with the media] the 90's went over the top but I think the actual sports were not as good in the 90's.

THOUGHTS..... This could be a gtreat thread..........

I can't remember what I did yesterday.

On a serious note, off the top, I might be inclined to give the edge to the 70s.

Canadiens in the NHL, UCLA in college basketball, Steelers in the NFL, OU, Bama, & USC in college football, the Big Red Machine in MLB.

I would probably go with the 80s.

The 90s would probably be last- World Series canceled due to a strike. Super Bowls for the most part sucked, 49ers scored a 104 points in their two, Bills sucked in 3 of their 4. In college football teams like Colorado & Ga Tech split a title, while Penn State's team in '94(?) didn't get to play for one. Boxing- Tyson in the 80s> Tyson in the 90s.

The 70's - the NFL, NBA, MLB, and CFB all had great rivalry games. The teams stayed in tact, and I enjoyed following all sports during that era.

Yeah, but the NBA was at its best, which makes up for all that.
