meh, I'll watch. I'm a sucker for these movies.

agreed. I figured out that it was the kids killing the families pretty early on and it better not be the same plot with just more fricked up murders.
that said, I'll watch.

I enjoyed it until the last 30 minutes or so. It had a few scary moments but it was extremely predictable. No sequel.

This is exactly how I felt.
Good movie, but not as great as the previews lead me to believe.
The scene where the kids are running around the guy's house was dumb.
Movie was better than alot of other crap that gets put out there tho.

that was the main problem of sinister. the bad guy just wasn't a good bad guy and it became anticlimactic

I also wanna give a shout out to Ziggy Sobotka playing the deputy. Hope he's in the sequel.
And yeah, during the movie, I kept telling my wife that I hoped they give more background on Bughuul. He has the potential to be a very interesting character.
