I'll look into that...thanks for the heads up

quote:

Players of the original Dragon's Dogma will be able to import their characters and pawns into Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen to pick up from where they left off. They will also be rewarded with 100,000 rift crystals, unlimited ferrystones and the Gransys Armor Pack with six new character costumes.

Worth buying it for this stuff or should I just wait?

The game now is $30 and the Dark Arisen will be $40. Hopefully they release it as a $10-$15 DLC. If not, it's probably not worth buying both.

100,000 rift crystals and unlimited ferrystones is awesome though. Ferrystones are used for fast travel, which after an hour you will deperately want in this game.

The two biggest negatives are very limited fast travel and your pawns don't SHUT THE HELL UP! they say the same thing over and over and over and over......

but as you can see from the pic, the battle system is badass

At the moment I'd wait for the expansion. As MJ mentioned paying $40 for the expansion will likely be a better deal than the $30 for the game plus $15 (likely) for the expansion on top of that.

Unlimited ferrystones are so clutch, I set up port crystals at the opposite ends of the map since the game lovesssssssss to send you out there for fun.
