Turner is no surprise, but Robinson and Abraham are a little more unexpected. I remember reading that they were deciding between Robinson and Grimes, so I guess this means they will be signing Grimes.

It's nice to see that they have to lose some good players, because I hate them. I really do!

Now to the dreaded should we question (which I also hate, but I am making this one exception because it will be robbing the falcons and making us stronger).... I think persuing Robinson is not a bad move. He hasn't been great, but he has been a good CB. I don't think he'd command a high price tag, and he may look to play against the team that cut him.

Abraham is not a fit in a 3-4, so let's not even worry about him

Lofton worked out. I like beating them with their own players. Plus I still get mad about Morten Anderson's defection.

Wow, very surprised they cut Robinson. He was very solid for them and is a great tackler.

Abraham and Turner were pretty expected.

Exactly. Robinson was much better in Houston than he was in Atl. He's a good quality player that can add depth at a position we are now thin at. However, price is the key to this one. How does he view himself?

Just like I read about Dwayne Bowe's agent the other day. His agent thinks he's top 5, but he's barely top 10.

Turner and Abraham are done. Robinson could come in and compete for a starting position. Would be an upgrade over both starting CB. I know they really looked at him when he left the Texans.

All 3 were expected. It freed up 15.9 million so I'd expect them to make a move on Steven Jackson (which I agree with).

However, we literally have 0 DE's now.

I think Robinson would be a good signing.

Dunta Robinson is awful, and has been awful for years now. That was a terrible contract for atlanta, they were smart to get rid of him and stick with Brent Grimes, who is the better player.
