We all know Robinson has said he would like to play together with Sims in college.

Will Sims get an offer during his Senior season?

He has expressed interest in it.

Whether he's serious or not remains to be seen.

They are close friends and I have heard they both expressed interest in playing together in college. They actually were playing together at Ouachita before Robinson transferred.

To anwer the OP's question, YES I think we can get Robinsion without getting Sims but I think offering Sims would go a long ways toward securing Robinson.

I know it's been discussed here before, but I forget: Why haven't we offered Sims? Too many players above him on our board?

Coaches want to see him run better than he did at camp last summer.

I don't think that should stop us from offering. The kid is good enough to warrant an offer regardless of Robinson. If it helps us with him, what's stopping us?

no brainer, IMO. do whatever it takes to get Robinson in purple and gold. you want Fournette? get kids like Robinson and Sims on board cause every kid wants to be a part of a class that has natcham written all over it.

get better.

The east ascension basketball coach this morning talked about the ouachita team they're about to play agains with the "Bama wr".

Any of the Monroe guys feel like letting us know how sims stands?

He did, but playing on two different teams in HS in the same city is a tad different than Sims at Alabama and Robinson at LSU.

I wonder if Sims' offer would still be committable at Alabama if Robinson chooses to go elsewhere?

Im not sure if the Bama offer is commitable but, my gut feeling is that Sims is still waiting on LSU offer. If LSU doesnt offer then i think he goes to the next available offer. Could be Bama could be someone else

Yeah, we both know Sims and Robinson can hang out after class when they are 350+ miles apart.

We need to offer Sims.....now. They're very close. Hootie Jones is very close to them, too. I wouldn't call them a "package deal". We know how that stuff goes. But, Sims going to Bama would hurt our chances tremendously....no doubt about it!

Maybe Bama paid him to tank it at our camps so we wouldn't offer?
