So going from st Joseph in Thib in 7th to vandy in 8th and not sitting out a year is causing this rucus? How is that possible. While both st Genevieve and st Joseph are feeders for edw, neither of them is tied to edw. They're both just schools in the Houma-Thibodaux diocese.

Supposedly the issue is the player lived with mom in houma, for eighth grade yr as necessary, but moved back to thib with father before the 2 yr residency clause expired - thus she should have lived in houma at least 2 yrs in order to be eligible to play without sitting out a yr.
Salmen tipped off Lhsaa about this after losing to vch per
Sources at vandy.

Henderson ruled that Triggs was ineligible to play at the Houma school due to her family’s violation of an association rule that prohibits student-athletes from returning to their original residence within two years of establishing resident eligibility outside of their original attendance zone.
Henderson originally ruled Triggs eligible following an eligibility investigation that was requested by Vandebilt 27 months ago and concluded on Dec. 7, 2010.
Vandebilt sought a second eligibility investigation on Triggs during the playoffs after questions arose about whether her home residence was still in Houma or had reverted to Thibodaux.
