With Charles, Bowe (assuming resign), Moeki, Baldwin then this is a pretty good offense on paper.... Resign the OT, draft an OT and you have makings of a solid offensive line

Nice move. Smith isn't great but he is a good game-managing QB. It's not like KC needs to go 14-2 in the AFC West. 10-6 can win the division.

Run the ball with Charles and Smith can prosper nicely by throwing only 15-20 times a game.

Stupid move for KC UNLESS something is wrong with Cassel. Their numbers are almost identical and it's not worth having two #1's. Cassel had a good '08 and '10 season where he actually produced numbers. If he can replicate that moving forward he's your man. If not...Alex Smith isn't the answer.
