Whitney/Hancock vs Regions

Fiancée and I are getting married in April and made the decision to combine our checking accounts and have individual savings accounts. I have had Hancock my whole life and she has had Regions forever. Any advice on which one we should go with?

One with the most locations in your area?

Regions is ok. I haven't been to Whitney/Hancock in a number of years, but the service seemed to vary wildly between locations.
I'd pick the one with convenient locations and/or lower fees.

Locations, it's just checking accounts, easy enough to switch if you're unhappy.

Depends where you live. It wouldn't hurt to have both open. I understand with combining both though. With Regions being a bigger bank in the southeast, you will have more branches to choose from, if you travel around the south.
Whitney/Hancock is pretty solid though, especially in the New Orleans area.
If its me, I would go with Regions.
