Venturing out of my comfort zone -- steaming cluster oysters and large clams

Anyone have suggestions?
We're at the beach for the week. Going to venture out and dig these suckers up. The oysters here cluster together. Different than in La. But they are supposed to be very good. Clams here are large, the size of a skinny hand ~2-3" X 5-6". Anyone have experience or suggestions with either?
