Because of the depth this year we can get a good OLB this year. What are the odds Ziggy, Jarvis, Jordon, and Mingo are all gone by 14? Some people will take offensive players and some people will take a DT. There is a better than average chance we will be able to get one of these guys if we want.

If all of those guys are gone there was likely a heavy run on defensive personnel. At that point you could probably get a good value on an OT or depending on how we graded the remaining players based on our needs it is very possible you will see an attempt to trade down to a team that wants a projected top ten offensive player in an effort to regain a second round pick.

True. Do they even tackle at practices that much anymore? No they don't, its part of the new CBA.
and those practices that they have over here at the Senior Bowl aren't like what they used to be either. They used to be a lot more physical.
I agree with those who are saying he is a project player and wouldn't be fired up about us picking him. But if we are able to shore up other parts of the defense in free agency, I wouldn't mind having him I guess.
but if we go after the front seven in free agency, I'd like for us to make some additions to the secondary in the draft.
