Im one of the biggest JP fans on this board.. but this just isn't one I'd recommend.
I've seen it advertised for yrs, figured we would try it.

The piganator/meat lovers and the sweep the kitchen blow the doors off this one.
Ingredients didn't seem fresh.. which in pineville(or any other nrthla location) it's prob hard to get some fresh shrimp or crawfish and crab.. I would think, especially the amount and size you would need to top a pizza.

I'm not a fan of the Sweep the Swamp.

I prefer the Hog Heaven with jalapeños.

Somebody needs to get down here and fix the Johnny's Pizzerias.

Can you do something about that?

I'm a Johnny's regular, and I had sweep the swamp once when I was growing up in Minden.

Hmmm, the crust is weak here. That's what you like about it so much, right?

The buffet at the Hammond location is atrociously disgusting.

Oh, I thought you loved it. My mistake.

The crust here is flimsy, and doesn't give much flavor. It's like a mop for the sauce.

The new location in Covington is excellent. Hammond and BR locations are suspect, based on the very few times I've eaten them. The biggest no-no a Johnny's Pizza can do is serve cold cheese sauce. I will crawl their arse like stink on shite if they give me cold cheese sauce.

Cold cheese is the only way BR location knows. The Wales clan no longer orders cheese there.

cheese sauce
Like nacho cheese? For the pizza or breadsticks or what? Haven't had any north LA locations. I'd like to give it a shot. The BR location is really bad. The crust had the consistency of a sponge.

It comes with the breadsticks but most Johnny's fans get a extra cup to dip pizza in.

It ain't no good cold.

They do a cheese sauce similar to a nacho cheese, but this one has more flavor and bite. It is for their breadsticks, but quickly became a staple condiment for dipping all of their pizza pies into around 1990 for me. I used to ride my 185s three wheeler to the Hwy 139 location in Swartz when I was in junior high in the early 90's. I too, like Ole Geauxt, hold Johnny's Pizza House near and dear to my heart.
