Hey Mr. Tambourine man is about finding drugs.
The Tambourine man is code word for drug dealer. Play a song for me... get me some drugs.
I've always speculated that Motley Crues Dr Feelgood is about a drug dealer as well... he's the when you can when you feel good, he's the one that makes you feel alright.

I thought that was pretty understood. Jimmy is a dealer out in Hollywood, and he's called Dr. Feelgood. They don't exactly hide the meaning.
