m not saying they dont have fast kids im talking about the ability to cross over from sprints to field event is something that is not successfully done at the 5a level
This is nonsense that has nothing to do with the quality of athletes in the smaller classes. Riley is probably the only guy in the past decade in 2A to score in a sprint and a throw. He would have won the 5A discus last year and scored in the 5A 110m hurdles. Would have been 5th in the 4A/5A hurdles today. He is a unique athlete. For those wondering, Pedro got clownstomped and lapped by multiple guys in his race. But I believe it was a personal best for him, so cheers are in order

Anybody know why Cory McBride of Dutchtown didn't show up for the Finals of the 55? I know he qualified.

The conversions from 55m to 40yard will always be faster than what their 40yard splits truly are. They are able to get to their top end speed and turnover, whereas the start for the first 40 would be slower. For instance Trindon's 40 at the speed he ran his indoor sprint fastest time would be converted to a 4.13 forty, which we know is much faster than he actually ran.
Very true. At the same time, LF definitely runs in the 4.4s in the 40, which at his size is .

Is that a linear extrapolation or are you accounting for acceleration? If so, how?
