I have both an offset smoker and a gas grill. Two tools for totally different uses for me. The smoker basically does all large/slow jobs. Gas grill does anything that takes under 30 minutes to cook. Things like: steaks, chicken breasts, duck bombs, burgers, grilled veggies, etc.
Whole chicken or even quarters could go either way. Just depends on mood, weather and how much time I have.

Get out of my brain! That was exactly my thought process for buying this.
I'm just wondering what I need to know that may be different. I'm guessing I'll need to watch stuff on the gas grill a lot more closely?
