Seriously, I began watching Go On a few months ago because it was promoted during the Olympics. I think it's great. But if it gets canceled because of lack of viewership, oh well. It's the job of both the show and network to keep a show going.

You realize Go On is pretty much a blatant rip off of Community, with all of the rough edges sanded off? I don't mind Go On, but I can see why it gets better ratings -- it is aggressively mediocre. So much of what is on TV, even during this the Golden Age, is intentionally bland mediocrities. They are designed to entertain with a minimal amount of engagement from the viewer.

It is precisely the things which make a show bad that will get it better ratings. People, as a group, want bland things that are not challenging. That's why Applebee's is a more popular restaurant than that really good Thai place on the corner.

I hope some of you realize that the attitudes on this board can turn some people off of watching those shows (Community, Parks and Rec, etc)

The CW is developing a lot of sci-fi/fantasy shows next year and seem to be moving beyond the teenage girl shows the use to air.... It would be something if The CW beat NBC next year!
