Exactly. That's what I should have specified when I said "lots of people up here use .357 with large hard cast". I meant in the city.

A city moose encounter is going to be less than 10 yards. At that range, a .357 hard cast is going right through their skull...and they have a big head that's hard to miss, even when charging.

yeah, you guys have the double whammy of bears and moose. I would much rather deal with bears than moose.
