If anyone drafts him before the 5th or 6th, I think it's a bad move.

He's under-sized and isn't a very good cover corner. LSU fans are going to say "but he makes plays"... true - against weaker opponents but you don't play many North Texas's in the NFL. Not to mention, who are you going to take off the field to put that guy on instead of?

If it were my team - the answer would be... no one.

I actually kind of hope we draft him so I can shove it in my LSU friends collective faces when he fails miserably after the shite they've given me about Ingram.

You can't take him before the 5th. The only place he has a chance of making an impact is returning kicks and punts. Too small. Do not want.

Clearly you didn't see the opponents that he made the big plays against

Still think he was a good college player, but the next level is a big mystery.

Oh wait buddy, now you talking dumb.

Mathieu made the biggest and most plays against the best competition on the biggest of stages. Dude made a number of huge plays against Oregon, West Virginia, made bulldogs look like idiots in the championship game, Arkansas a number of plays, Florida, had some nice coverage plays in Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, Kentucky. Your statement is pure asinine.

He's under-sized

This is by far the dumbest knock on him considering he's the same size a Brandon Flowers.

His best games were against Oregon, west Virginia, Georgia, Arkansas and Florida.

So he made his plays against the hardest schedule in college football. He played a lot of safety in games, and fits in multiple positions of needs

The he can't cover bullshite is stupid. He has great cover skills except for a handful of plays all year. He's also an incredible tackler and reads the ball better than anyone ive seen

He is an undersize for a shut down coner, but for a Nickel back/ Free saftey he isn't that undersized. Some of the top FS in the leauge are under 6'. You can not teach or coach ball skills and feel for the game, and that is what TM7 has. I'd take him in the 4th in a heartbeat.

I'm a firm believer in that there's no way he lasts past the 4th round

Yes, because Oregon, West Virginia, Georgia, and Arkansas were nobodies in 2011

Double Down, if (since Saban has coached), Alabama has ever had a schedule even close to the one LSU had the last year Mathieu played and dominated, then i apologize; otherwise, you are full of shite with your weaker opponents crap. rolleyes:

Oh, and Atlanta is the anti-Bama.

DoubleDown you're a jackass. Just because he had one bad game against Bama he sucks... Typical fricking logic.
