I was shooting 75 yards with the sights that came on it. Its not too bad especially with semi auto. With 10, 25 and 30 round magafugginzines we were destroying our target, but it was mainly line up your sights for the first shot and compensate with the impact as we went. Obviously a scope will make it better.
If you're looking for that 50 yd range + close quarters then id go with a red dot magnifier rather than a scope.

So, an ACOG isn't good for at least 50 yards?

I'll do my best in making a good video if RB agrees to fix this statement.
I don't have a ton of on-hand optics to show, but I can use some of my dad's deer rifles as examples and show my personal AR.
