LINK

Eleven and a half minutes of pure athleticism and skill, and this was his freshman year.

The coaches cannot let his(Brazil's) speed go to waste. I want to see him on kickoffs, at the RB position and at the WR position. A three back rotation with Brazil, Hill, and Blue is mouth watering.

I cant wait to see him and Jennings running that short side option.

Brazil will be running in the state meet this weekend where he should break some records.

I wonder where the coaches put him. Seems best as a db but would be most useful as a RB/WR

I don't think De'Anthony Thomas is a good comparison to Brazil. Brazil doesn't seem as elusive.

Without a doubt

I hate to ask this question because people said it about RS10 and nothing ever became of it but....

Does anyone think Brazil could be a "Percy Harvin" type utility player for LSU?

Yeah I think it begins and ends with their speed. Brazil is a much more powerful guy than Thomas, while Thomas just makes you miss. Brazil is gonna surprise some people with his strength.

He could be. If he was in a system that ran an offense like that. At LSU we don't run an offense like that, so no. He will not be like that. The closest thing we had to that was trindon and that was with Gary Crowton runnin the show with a 5th year senior and a more spread power offense

Mingo ran him down from behind Thomas is grossly overrated!

Brazil is much faster he ran the fastest Time in high school this year.

Broke trindon holidays record in the 55 meter race.

Trindon just missed representing the US in the Peking games. He was 4th we took 3.

Brazil is way faster then Thomas and may represent the us in Rio! Oregon is like Norte dame way overrated got beat down by lsu

Agree. Early comparisons were to Holliday, because he broke one of Holliday's track records, but Holliday would go down fairly easy. Brazil seems to have it all, and wouldn't be surprised to see him at RB, some. Special teams is a given, esp. Kickoff return. He's not a natural corner, but could see him develop into a Safety. Still, I hope they keep him on offense. That speed, whether around the edge, or over the top, will make defenses lose their composure. Going to be fun to see how Cam uses him.

From playing on both sides of the ball IMO I think he will be way ahead of rs10...as far as football iq in his first year....also dude plays hard.

I look at it as lsu beat a very good team not an overrated one...Id like to give lsu some credit there....but that's just me.

Mingo did not run him down from behind. Mingo had a giant angle on a back who was taking a pitch/handoff and had to turn toward the LOS (i.e. Mingo). Thomas would embarrass Mingo in a sprint. Even with the handicap, kudos to Mingo for making that play. But, run him down from behind?

Brazil doesn't have the moves of DAT but he is plenty elusive. Also playing on defense means he enjoys contact which is something you usually don't see with blazers.

They played in weak pack 10 and would have been killed in the SEC. Wrong I watched the game Mingo behind the line ran him down from behind . I saw the game. The announcers were astounded. His own coach commented after the game that he had never seen guys that size that had that speed.

Mingo ran track in high school

Somewhat true.

Wrong, as previously stated

True. Also, the announcers are idiots.
