That wouldn't explain not sending him out as a receiver out of the backfield more often. As the other guy pointed out, it is pretty predictable when he comes in.
In his two years in the league, he's been targeted 23 times and caught 17 of those passes. All for just 75 yds, which is a worse average than his running average. My guess is they just don't trust him for anything other than dump-offs. Ivory has a grand total of 3 catches in 3 years....but he did get 32 yards on those 3.
