This is the LA state law mandating any member of the Univ. of LA Board of Regents. Look under B(2)(a). The Board can change names of members to "Univ. of LA @ (location). There is zero mention of any member having the legal claim to being called "the Univ. of LA" w/o the location tag included.

i think UNO should have more claim to a U of Louisiana than anywhere in Lafayette...

i think UNO should have more claim to be UL than Southwestern Louisiana...
