Local OB resident. As others have mentioned Class Act Captain Dale Woodruff, good friend and is a good captain. However IMO Capt. Ricky Mcduffey of the Sea Hunter is one of the best on the Island, that's if he does 6 hours. There are a bunch of great Captains and boats in the area but that time of year will be tough with the unpredictable weather. On a 6 hour you're not going very far offshore, beeliners, trigger are about the best bottom fish you can hope for plus troll for Spanish, kings and maybe Chase down a Cobia. Spend the extra and go on a 10 hr trip if you really want to get on a mess of fish. I'll check back on this thread and answer any questions on captains or boats.
