Rumors i always hear, is that when Mack leaves

TCU head Coach is their #1 target, with Briles(Baylor) being #2. Couldn't go wrong with either one.

I think Broyles is a little underrated.

He was very good at Arkansas, but 88 is a bit old to come back to coaching

Art Briles at Baylor is a pretty good HC, but he has turned down some other offers and at 57 would not be a long term solution imo for Texas.

I think chicken just likes sturring up shite. Why would he have connections with UT? Is he a closet longhorn fan? I would think he would have inside sources with Lsu, not UT

It could be interesting when Mack Brown finally does step. down.... no one knows what Muschamp's resume will look like 12 months. Their offenses have really struggled, Dan Quinn and Matt Elam are gone. It's pretty clear UF played over their heads in 2011... could've easily lost a couple more games and got slammed pretty good by UL in the sugar.

The question could come down to - does Florida think WM is worth 6 million a year?... say he goes 9-3 in 2013 with another loss to UGA and no SEC East championship. His overall record would be around 27-11... is that worth 6+ million a year?

IMO, UF will match any offer by Texas... ADs are absolutely scared when it comes to coaching turnover. They'd much rather overpay someone than have to go through the unknown of hiring a new coach (will you hire the next Urban Meyer, or the next Ron Zook?).
