Agree, nobody has ever been all-pro (NFL) & all-star (MLB) like Bo. It's not even close, he was the best.

Just curious and not trying to be provocative, but do you really "break down film"? Every now and then I look at a highlight clip, but I don't break it down.

He's as good as advertised according to multiple sources. Good enough that CLM didn't even recruit a RB this year.

Watch AP's 2012 highlight tape and then watch that Bo Jackson highlight tape. The guy is already on par with the legends.
No he's not. Bo was more talented. I'd take AP over Bo, though, because Bo was short on heart. His best-of-all-time talent covered it up, but Bo didn't want war; he wanted it easy. All of these guys are amazing in different ways. Bo and Hershal are in a class by themselves as far as talent. The only two backs I'd put there with them are Earl Campbell (for about four years only) and Barry Sanders. I'm only including backs from 1970 onward. I don't know about Jim Brown and Gale Sayers. Their highlights sure look great. Maybe they were playing the Washington Generals, though.

Pure idiocy! Did you look at any of the film whick all show him running over and throuhg people on all of them? Geeze! However, a RB would be an ever loving fool idiot if he preferred to run into defenders rather than around them if he has the skillset to do so. Some on here, apparently you among them, have this notion that the drop your head, close your eyes and barrel into the defense RB is somehow better that running to open space, avoiding defenders and maximizing yardage gained. They would prefer an offensive guard running the ball over a sleek, shifty, elusive speed back that the defense can't get their hands on. If Bo hayyen gotten the career ending injury by being "soft" by running through a tackle, his career in the NFL would have been a marvel to behold.

Yea He is really Good.
I think the timing for him to be at LSU is right on. Les has a great class of linemen coming in and if we are just a fraction as good there as we can be LF could be our first Heisman winner since Cannon. He is that good. Could make the state very proud.

Bo's heart was always on baseball even though he was a better football player. The only reason why he gave the NFL a shot was because the KC Royals cut him to avoid paying him. He was drafted in the 7th round by the Raiders because Bo and Al Davis went into agreement that he can still play baseball while under a football contract. That was the only reason why he split carries with Marcus Allen. Bo was much more of a home run with the ball in his hands.

The Royals did not cut Bo Jackson. He played the full baseball season and would join the Raiders with the Regular Season already in session.

but Bo didn't want war; he wanted it easy. _______________________________________________ He hunted down Bosworth on National Monday Night Football, when more than half the population thought Bosworth would get the better of it. Total Mismatch. He told Tampa bay to stick it in their ear and turned down millions to go play double A baseball in Memphis. He came back to play professional ball with an artificial hip. Hopefully u can understand the rehab and training necessary to regain almost full speed again. Bo was plenty tough and was the most gifted ever. He couldve been the best RB ever in the NFL and a 500 home run guy in baseball. And thats before steroids. we are talking about a once in a lifetime freak here. I dont remember Bo running out of bounds. AP is an incredible back what he did this yr against 8 man fronts is crazy. Im still asking did he do that. But Bo is arguably the fastest guy to ever play the game and was huge and yep didnt fumble. They guy literally walked off the baseball diamond onto the football field and was the best player in the league in the first game.
