I liked watching as a kid and seeing people like me play. Now almost every player's last name ends in a Z. Part of the reason I don't enjoy it as much. Most of the stars can't even speak English well so it's hard as a fan to watch interviews and get to know them (Cabrera, All Star MVP this year).

Message Tiger in NY Lack of stars in MLB from LSU Name me a school that does have a lot of MLB stars. The majority of the Top 50 players in MLB never stepped foot on a college campus. ETA: Aaron Hill is a very good player and Brian Wilson is an all-star. THIS IS THE ANSWER Its extremely rare that a player with true MLB ability plays in college
