I don't use a balder shield. Usually black knight or dragon crest shield b/c I like the way it looks. Target shield is good for parrying?

Finally beat Gwyn last night on NG+ using the parry technique!! On to NG++. I guess I got to the party too late, this thread seems to be dying.
