I've seen someone on my team Heskey it: open net, blast it right off the crossbar.

My JV team was supposed to play at Oak Mountain. We got to the field and their girls team was warming up on the field. Our coach thought he scheduled a game with their JV team, their coach thought he scheduled a game with our girls team. We already drove and hour and a half to Birmingham, so we decided to just go on and play the girls team.

As a ref, the craziest thing I ever had to do was red card a U5 coach.

Yes, you read that right. Not U15. U5.

A goalie from my select team used to purposely punch people in the face on corner kicks. It was wildly entertaining.

If he tried that shite on my team one of us would have elbowed him in the face and ended his season. True story.

Cursing. At his own son, no less. I warned him several times.

Basically, at that age you are doing well as the coach if you can get one player to stay in goal. This coach decided his son was supposed to stay in the goal. When he didn't, he yelled at him. Only he didn't just yell, he cursed.

It was bad. All the other parents (on both teams) were complaining. I warned the guy like three times and then sent him off. He pulled his team off the field in response. Real class act.

The guy ended up getting banned from coaching in the league.
