But how awesome to watch is it when he goes on those little 3 minute bursts of points, rebounds on both ends, and blocked shots at a frenzied pace. He gets so hyped up you can see the genuine confidence building in him.

It's the most fun thing on the team this year. You cant do anything but root for the kid. From basketball band tuba player to starting center is just worthy and want to see him do well because of that.

He has those games like USCe and Vandy where he throws down some easy buckets and excites with a blocked shot or grabbing some boards. But then he has games where he only plays a couple minutes and cant do anything right. That dunk against Vandy still is vibrating through my body it was so monster.

I will say this about Del Piero - he has REALLY improved his hands and ball handling/decision making throughout the season. He has ONE, yes, ONE turnover the last SEVEN games. 53 minutes played and only 1 turnover from our klutzy 7'3 big man...I'll take that every time.

in-between in what way,

As in, he'll be nothing more than a solid contributor (kinda what Morgan is now). Start occasionally but not the guy you count on.

Oh yeah absolutely. Malone wont become some 30 minute a game guy who throws down double digits on average to me.
