Certainly no leverage this year with Gordon being able to veto trades, but the only thing you really need for leverage is multiple serious bidders. It doesn't matter that other teams think we have to dump Gordon, it matters how much teams are willing to compete with each other to get him. The CP3 trade was between LA and LA, but had Golden State been in the mix maybe they'd have pushed the Clippers more.

Some sportswriters are claiming that Dallas and Houston will both make a run at him this off-season if they miss out on Dwight Howard.

Golden State and Indiana have also been mentioned as possibilities.

I think that is over played.

There truly has to be a perfect fit by 2 or more teams. One that specifically fits the hornets needs both talent wise & financially.

Even with that being said, the biggest thing is finding a team enamored with Gordon. Then finding a 2nd or 3rd to amp up the bidding. Good luck with that
