Lets just post what Ray Rice has done under Cameron...
2008: 107 carries for 454 yds, 33 catches for 273 yds
2009: 254 carries for 1339 yds, 78 catches for 702 yds, 8 TDs
2010: 307 carries for 1220 yds, 63 catches for 556 yds, 6 TDs
2011: 291 carries for 1364 yds, 74 catches for 704 yds, 15 TDs
2012: 257 carries for 1143 yds, 61 catches for 478 yds, 10 TDs
Rice's worst year statistically (which was still outstanding) was 2010 when he was overworked with too many carries, significantly lowering his yard per carry average. Cameron was right to pace his RB and not ride the horse until he dies.
Just for the sake of full clarity, I feel it is imperative to list Tomlinson's performance under Cameron:
2002: 372 carries for 1683 yds, 79 catches for 589 yds, 15 TDs
2003: 313 carries for 1665 yds,100 catches for 725 yds, 17 TDs
2004: 339 carries for 1339 yds, 53 catches for 341 yds, 18 TDs
2005: 339 carries for 1462 yds, 51 catches for 371 yds, 20 TDs
2006: 348 carries for 1815 yds, 56 catches for 508 yds, 31 TDs
If you want a guy with an outstanding track record with NFL RBs, I don't know who is better than Cameron.

Cameron loves to run the ball as well as throw to his RB's. Fournette loves to run the ball as well as catch the ball out of the backfield. It will never work.

just the thought of LF in an LSU uniform catching a screen pass while he is in stride makes me super excited about the future.

Im sure Les wont change much from his philosophy of run first so hopefully other schools wont tell LF he wont get his touches at LSU.
did you read anything about how CC likes to have a balanced offense and how he has developed some pretty strong rb's and how he really likes to incorporate the rb's into the passing game? if LF has half the talent this board has fixated upon then, when and if he comes to LSU, he will be the featured back in a pro-style offense that will be built to accentuate his skill sets. that is what CC has traditionaly done everywhere the coaching carosel has taken him. great hire who will make everyone utilise all of our talent in a balanced and effective manner. personally, I think kids like Diarse and DeSean Smith will benefit just as much from the CC hire as LF ever will.
get better.

Not surprisingly, the OP is long gone from this stupid thread.

we should have gone to the air mcconnell tree IMHO

They specifically said he likes balance. Hard nose running game then stretch the field vertically. Also stated with younger qbs he doesnt like to throw over the middke cus that tends to lead to more ints.

Actually it helps if you know what you are talking about.

No offense, but do ppl dream up shite to worry about?

Sorry I didnt realize we had so many coached on here but I meant more of what is said about him hence the "air Coryell" analogy. I realize an offense that throws the ball can throw to the backs. I was tlaking about the perception. Also just so you know I've forgotten more about football than most of you ever knew so

Hi Bobby.

quote:so you think the false perception that CC offenses don't run the ball will sway a kid from coming here?
