I'm looking forward to doing some fishing as soon as I can get off of this damn rig!
Same here. One more week in Brazil then home for 28 days. Got a trip planned for Toledo to fish in the Texas Oilman Tourney and a tourney on D'Arbonne March 2nd.

The old motor (2012 Mercury 250 Pro xs) ran 70 mph wide open. Normal cruising speed is 40-45 usually. Haven't put it in the water with the new motor yet.
It should be noted that I have this boat setup very poorly in terms of speed. I have 2 battery chargers (1 DC alternator charger & 1 AC onboard charger) & 3 Optima D31 series batteries mounted under the center console. I also have 2 more optima D31 series batteries mounted in the rear of the boat (1 on each side). Those are the heaviest batteries that optima makes & that's a lot of extra weight in the boat. If I swapped out all the batteries for some that weighed less & mounted all of them in the back of the boat along with the chargers, it would easily run mid 70's.

Just curious what tourney is on D'Arbonne the 2nd? I fish the MediaBass circuits and D'Arbonne is my favorite lake in this area..... if it's open to anyone I might have to show up...
