into school? I see people saying stuff like he couldn't get into LSU, but he could another school. Well, hate to break it to you but for a student athlete to get into LSU all they need is an act score of 18 and a 2.0. This means anyone who gets cleared, could come here.

I hate to break it to you but when people say that, they mean certain schools accept certain credits. If you dont have the minimum required credits, then you cant get in.

Not all schools or conferences accept the same grades, scores, or credits. It varies and has to pass the clearinghouse. Also takes a 3.0, unless ACT is higher

a) everybody knows that

b) despite the lower entrance requirements, many athletes still have trouble meeting those qualifications.

Of course who actually thinks 85% of football players could make the grades?

Everybody knows this. Do you realize some schools have higher admission standards than others? Do you realize that a triangle has three sides? Do you know that not every school accepts the same credits?

Not sure if it still exist, but there was a sliding scale for athletes about 5 years ago. Something like a 17 ACT with a 2.7 GPA or a 19 ACT with a 2.5 GPA or a 24 ACT with a 1.7 GPA. (Those arent the numbers, but it was something like that.) Then there are partial qualifiers which I don't think the SEC takes any more.

My question was always about Noel Divine. Couldn't get into Oklahoma, LSU or Florida State. But could get into West Virginia and was eligible for three years. !??!
