Like I posted last night, it seems he did something either unnecessary or illegal. It could be that the inheritance was solely his property, shielded from any claim by his wife. If not, the law generally frowns on transferring assets to avoid claims on them, and such attempts don't work if found out, so it would not have been wise to admit to it if this is the case. Has the OP confessed to anything else? I lost track after the first few pages.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I have read a large portion of it.
Nowhere have I seen a link to a news report of this crime. I did a quick search of the Charleston, SC newspaper (where said sister supposedly works) and did not come up with anything.
Surely a 200k embezzlement would be big news, no?
I remain skeptical.
Has sister been arrested? Or was this property transfer done before the police were called? Are the police involved at all?
