I have $310 extra in my roth ira that is just sitting in nothing right now. I would like to purchase more of the fund I have currently (VDAIX)

I clicked to process and it said the commission fee was $45 dollars? It's through USAA.

I thought there was an initial fee to get in the fund, but to buy more, I didn't know there was a fee like that each time. They didn't charge to reinvest my dividend.

Huh? What? Why? Where? Who? When? How?

There's no load on that fund, USAA is butt-sectsing you man.

That's unreasonable.

I'd recommend setting up an account with VG directly and avoid that if you can't get it straight.

I've never gone through USAA before, but this doesn't sound good.

I pulled my Roth out of USAA last year because of the stupid fees they charge to make transactions. I went with Fidelity and get the bonus of having my 401k managed by the same company.
