i've spent $25
i bought 2 builders and i still have 1300 gems left over
eta: i had itunes gift cards from Christmas so technically it wasn't my money

I think most of have spent at least $5 to get a 3rd builder, most have spent $15 total to get a 3rd and 4th.
IMO there really isn't a point in playing with only 2 builders
