Yup you can use the hero king and queen for attack or defense

Nope, they just rest.... Like a lvl 3 if I use him and he "dies" during battle then it takes him 70 minutes to refresh

just had a dude with dual xbow's absolutely wreck this army in about 30 seconds:
14 - level 4 giants
75 - level 5 archers
1 - level 2 healer
i need to start checking to see if the xbows are loaded before evening bothering with an attack. waste of 65k in elixir.

hmm...what? newb mistake not checking for loaded xbows? i'm just now at the trophy level where i'm seeing them a bunch.

I never check, I just don't attack if they have two unless loot is too good to pass on

I used to be pretty successful in my raids. Now, all of a sudden, I'm getting some opponents that have some pretty stout defenses. I guess I need to build up my coin and elixir to improve my army.

your trophy level has went up, meaning the matchmaking matches you against players with higher trophy levels.

yeh, you could always reverse boost. i've done it a few times when i get too high.

i have people doing that to me all the time now
they will just send one archer and i will get 15 trophies

I never do that, if I wanna lose trophies I just send goblins, that way I at least get resources

yup thats what i do, except i don't want to lose trophies right now. im trying for the 1250.
