so the above strategy is a pain in the arse to set up and do, but doable.
I don't think you can leave it up all the time though because you get a notification saying youve ben playing to long and to take a break. so frick you CoC, frick you. the one thing I though that would make this game fun again you won't let happen.
also the problem with dropping trophies to find easier bases to raid is when people attack you it snowballs into you getting attacked by a lot of people that causes you to lose a shite load of resources before you finally get put under shield
so to recap, raiding is the only thing fun in this game and yet no combination of troops appears to work to raid with at a high level. so to find bases you can raid and be successful at you have to drop trophies but you do that you lose more resources than you gain by raiding at a low trophy level
yea I mad. spent over a thousand dollars on a game that screws people over. fml

Hang in there Hawg.
SC knows that loot is a big problem at th10 and I think the next update will address that in some type of way.
As far as your loot/trophy argument, you gotta just pick 1. If you want to farm you have to drop down to gold I/II. Can't stay in Crystal/Masters and expect to come across easy loot very often.

They need to give us more mines or extend the level of each mine.

i usually raid two or three times a day....mostly between shields
it would be nice if they upped the output of mines/elixir, but they won't b/c people wouldn't spend gems
the game has run it's course IMO, on to Castle Clash

I have never played Castle Clash. The only thing that chaps me about CoC is the fact that you get worked by Higher levels and Higher TH's all the time. My defense does not allow a good stand with LvL 6 giants, max spells, etc. I got worked twice in 2 days for over 800k loot of both. Im losing interest fast in this game. I can upgrade max defenses at th8, and still get destroyed on the reg.

I cant. I am trying to save for level 6 wiz towers at 2.96 mil. I can only upgrade one tesla right now. Not worth it IMO. Would rather wiz towers.
