this isn't specifically directed at you:
i don't understand how idolizing bama/saban is beneficial to LSU. it bothers me that bama/saban's second most vocal supporters are LSU fans (even if they claim to hate bama). but the very same people who are the biggest cheerleaders for bama wonder aloud how bama recruits so well, why they get so much positive coverage from the national media, and why they seem to receive so much benefit from the SEC offices. does that not make sense to anyone else? if i were choosing between bama and LSU, which school would i choose if bama and LSU praise bama equally, but LSU doesn't get the same degree of respect from bamaland (that isn't to say that bama fans are disrespectful toward LSU, they just don't piss their pants fawning over us the same way that LSU fans do toward bama).

I can't speak for other people but there is no idolization in my mind... It's a fact.
We play them every year.
Not only are theybin our conference but they are in our division.
You gotta beat them, have to if we want the achieve ultimate goal.

They've won 3 outa last 4.
Yeah that stings for most LSU fans.... As it should.
