Downshift, any other recommendations for a wheel gun other than gp100 around that same price point?

Eh
The GP100 is kinda in a unique price bracket.
Smith makes an asspile of GREAT full size .357s but they're a couple hundred bucks more.
Taurus makes some good ones for a couple hundred less.
FWIW, taurus gets tons of hate, but I wouldn't be scared to buy one. Their revolvers are pretty well made.
