Question about SXSW tickets

Looks like you have to buy a pass for the entire event...like 750 dollars.
Is there no option just to buy a ticket for the day you are going to be there?
I already have a pass (was given to me)...but I have some freinds that were going too.

There's official and unofficial shows. You can buy into official shows by getting a wrist band at the door of the venue.
