Given their success I'm sure they are extremely confident about everything, but a year ago at this time they swore Nkemdiche was a Bama lock. I take it all with a grain of salt. I think it is pretty clear the path at LSU is more inviting for star RB and that LSU has made him a top priority. If that's not good enough, there is nothing else we can do.

Really hope he goes with LSU. I can't talk about this kid or any other recruit with an Alabama fan since they think every recruit in America so desperately wants to play for them.

Unfortunately, Speedy Noil is saying the same thing now.

I agree. This kid is coming here unless we seriously drop the ball.

Obviously, there are a few cons to players waiting until the AA games to announce, but the positive exposure of these 5* players [hopefully] choosing LSU on national TV will be a good thing. It'll just be maddening to wait that long.

Just curious, with Fournette waiting until the UA game to commit will this hurt or help us on picking up other highly ranked running backs.

prolly not gonna make a big difference. Our depth chart will be thin after this year, with blue gone and possibly hill if he breaks out, and we have a history of spreading touches around.

Fournette just posted a 10.78 in 100m and 21.72 in 200m. It is scary for someone his size to run like that.

If this is true, then it sucks.

A guy like LF can really be a leader for a class and if he waits and plays games it could hurt the very class that he joins (LSU)

The stage is set for LF to be a hero in the state and the benefits that that will reap will last a life time.

This notion is greatly over rated. By all accounts Clapp is taking that role already and Noil could as well. We'll have leaders to help recruit.

uncommitted players help recruit all the time.

I would rather have LSU completely take over the Army and Under Armor AA games by landing 3-4 commitments during each game and the haters can sit there and just watch us get richer and richer. Having that happen will be a ton of exposure for the program.
