Too many to list, but if you haven't seen:

Arrested Development
Archer
Peep Show
The IT Crowd

start with any of those, in that order. AD is the best but takes 2 or 3 episodes to hit its stride (and it gets better). The other three kind of hit the ground running.

Seen all four unfortunately, but nice list. AD is, imo, the funniest show ever made

K, then you mean very underrated. Have you seen "The Trip"? Very funny under the radar movie with Steve Coogan. Think "Sideways", but funnier and with food instead of wine.

ETA: Portlandia is very funny, Better off Ted is worth a watch.

Oh yeah, I think I've seen a clip of that where coogan is correcting someones Michael Caine impersonation. Looks pretty good, I'll give that a shot. Thanks man

Better off Ted is the closest thing to a well done off the wall sitcom since AD. Very funny. Portlandia is funny. The IT crowd is great if you like British comedy. I think that some episodes of top gear are as funny as the funniest comedy shows. Jmho.

Todd Margaret is a good series, I guess you could call it dark comedy. It's mainly an awkward vessel for David cross and will arnett.

Which is why I had such high hopes, but I was very underwhelmed in the 2 or 3 episodes I watched. I'll give it another shot soon.

oh youre correct. it will stay underwhelming, never picking up momentum. i purely watched it just to complete the series and because cross is great at the false confidence, deadpan actor.
there were some parts that made me exhale from my nose loudly, but i dont think i ever managed a full out loud laugh.
