Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State....
All consistently have top recruits and yet somehow all of those team combine for 0 titles in the past 7 years

Ha! You act like that's nothing. Try one Elite 8, two Final 4s, and one national championship. Not too shabby if you ask me. And trust me, UK has the talent to go far again. When you lose your top six contributors from a season ago it takes a little time to build chemistry.

And 3 of them were Freshmen. I am not going to argue but what happened last year was a one in a million thing. AD and MKG were the two best players in the country and were NBA ready. Nothing was going to stop that team.
But my point is that it doesn't take a top recruiting class to win a national title every season, only one in the past six.
Also, circling back for a minute, I agree with how recruits are rated but I don't agree giving them stars. We should rate them on a scale of 1-100 and allow the top 250 scouts in the nation rate them without stars. Give them a rating and that is the end game. No need to find one site giving a guy 5 stars while two others say 4 and another says low 4, etc..

Some 5 stars turn out to be busts, some walkons turn out to be all americans. Ratings don,t mean a thing after you run out of that tunnel!
