Strange, usually our bigger LBs play the WILL. Lighter, faster at SAM. Maybe Chavis views them all as interchangeable?

I thought it was a little weird too but that is what he said in an interview maybe they are looking to slim him down or his speed counteracts his weight.

Where do you come up with this stuff? Les hardly ever starts seniors. He routinely starts younger guys over older guys. Les runs a meritocracy - in coaches as well as players. That's why the SOB is so successful!

Case in point, at least as far as playing time, with all the departures from this past season, there sure are a lot of familiar names returning.

don't sleep on beckwiths speed. may not have the best 40 time but after seeing him play 5-7 games I know he's explosive and can cut well. I think SAM would be a great position for him
