Seriously though, I've been eating ALOT of deer lately too, and m shitting tar like rope And it is foul.

Got to be the iron. I process most of mine myself and rarely bleed them. I don't think there is much of a difference in the taste either way.
Then again I would think duck is pretty high in iron too and I eat the hell out of some duck.
