I was at Mardi Gras all day yesterday, so taped the Vegas 7's and watched it this morning. Isles basically beat Spain by himself! Awesome! Also, new word of the day "knackered." Carlin Isles makes any team chasing him look knackered.

For those who follow rugby & football closely How badly would guys like Reggie bush, Percy Harvin, Adrian Peterson, most CBs, etc etc dominate these 7s games? I don't know the subbing rules or how much less cardio plays a factor than the regular game.....

A sevens tournament isn't a sprint, it's a marathon with a shitload of sprinting in it. You don't just play one match, you play several over the course of the weekend, sometimes several in one day. So you can't just train anaerobically, or just do cardio, you have to have a shitload of training period, just to be competent, let alone any good. It's cray-cray, but it's fun. Not to mention they hit you like you're playing 15's, and you don't stop hurting. Those NFL athletes you mentioned would be great players in 15 a side Rugby Union, IMHO. I think Darren Sproles would have excelled at 7's as would Reggie Bush.
